Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why does he not get a more regular chance!

    Not enough pace for me.

We don't play with pace so he doesn't need any.

This is wide open, there should be plenty more goals

Hes a good squad player but thats about it. Not good enough to start on a regular basis. No doubting his finishing tho thats out of the top drawer.

Oxlade Chamberlain is a much much better player playing central. So dangerous running at pace.

He looks like he might make a good DM.
Should be given a go at it.
Mind you these look like a Div 3 side.

If its a draw and we win 6-0 we top the group I believe :P

I guarantee you we put out a second string and they perform better than our first choice.

Players who have been treated badly by Wenger will prove a point.

    Hmmmmmm.

I dont see anything in Sanogo.
Big physical guy who has some ability im sur he would dominate underage against younger players... but hes very predictable and his body movement betrays where he is going about 5 secs before he makes the turn.

Gala have set up horrible against us..

They're playing a high line with zero pressure. They haven't learned anything from the last game.

Honestly our 2nd string team should be winning this by quite a bit.

Ramsey prospering without Wilshere in the team, its no coincidence. Build that midfield around himself and Ozil!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

6 goals and 3 assists for "poor" Aaron Ramsey this year. Sorry but could never get that stick for him in here. Super player.

Same, I genuinely dont see how others can see it. Get that DM and our midfield is unstoppable.

I think Wilshere drags the team down with his bad tackling and poor positional play

People forgetting how **** Ramsey has been in several games without Wilshere?

We said that at the end of last season too but no DM.

After half an hour I stuck on a link for the Dortmund game and Anderlecht have looked the better team. Since I started watching they could have scored two and could have had a peno as well.

True, always will be that couple of players short. So close but yet so far.

Ozil does so much for him dragging players with him, creating the space for him to run in too. Got to be like that once Ozil comes back. I genuinely believe we would be doing much better had we stuck with the old formation and not shoehorned in players.

As the saying goes "your only as good as your last game". People seem to have short memories on here. He has been one of our worst players this year but its good to see him find his form again.

He has lets be honest. Cant recall who it was against but i counted him giving the ball away 5 times on the trot and then he done a stupid back heel in our own half and nearly cost us a goal. He has been woeful but he looks back to something like his best tonight.

That capitulation against Anderlecht is looking very costly now. Had we won that 3 - 0 we'd be ahead on points and level on goal difference already.

    Hate that saying.

If he is only as good as his last game then he is **** full stop.

chaos theory. you can never prove that if we won 3-0 in that game , that we'd be 3-0 up at this point now..

Also Dortmund would have a different attitude.

Im talking about us fans. When a player has a great game they seem to forget how poor they were in previous ones.

Hate to go off topic but you can't say that and also say if southampton didn't go to ten we'd still have won, complete contradiction. Just saying.

That's fine. I don't rate him. A mid table player imho

You made the initial point that if we they didn't go down to 10 we wouldn't have won.

I argued chaos theory with you as well, saying you could never prove that.

and you said something along the lines of 'Chaos theory my ar$e' :pac:

Yeah but we were 3 - 0 up in that game and we're already 3 - 0 up against Galatasaray tonight. That's more than enough proof for me.

I thought chaos theory meant if Southampton hadn't gone down to ten men then Gunnersaurus would have escaped from the stadium :pac:
