Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How Bellerin and Ox have a yellow each and Tiote and Colbeck haven't one between shoes we never get a fair deal from refs when it comes to tackles.

    Great fcuking goal... Giiirroooouuuuuu

Will take your word for it. Personally though wouldn't like the sound of him there at all.

I could be wrong, I wouldn't like to see him there either I was just posting the 11 I'd play with our current squad. Have to say tho Debuchy has looked great at CB not too much to do but positioning and all has been great.

    That could have been red

If only we had a full strength team we'd have murdered this rubbish newcastle team altogether ....My question is how did they beat chelsea ?

Ref mad to get booking Arsenal players.
    Ah great goal :D:D:D

I think we have a right tonight to say the Ref has been a little quick to book our players.

I dont understand the fuss over a player asking for a yellow.

If it's a bad foul you have every right to argue the point.

Now it's time to give poldi a go, a nice half an hour save Sanchez.

These teams at home with a home crowd behind them always do big teams in. Look at Stoke with us, I beat we slaughter them at our place we always do.

We were worse than rubbish that. Mikel missed a sitter a 0-0 too and it showed what missing Matic could do.

Id be confident we'd beat them at home.

Yeve been very good today though.

desperate marking from Arsenal. we might be 3 up but we need to stop giving away soft goals

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

Do we use this or Newcastles to talk about the game?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,435 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

That Newcastle goal keeps my big bet alive i.e. three games with all teams to score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,483 ✭✭✭brianregan09

Gav think you may have jinxed us again, all you need do is step inside our thread and we concede lol

Has anyone honestly seen any benefit from zonal marking for us since we started doing it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Well this is fantastic entertainment for my Saturday evening.
Expect a few more goals as well.

He's Chelsea's best player by a country mile for me. How they sold him in the first place is shocking to me.

Yeah, he has. Think age might be the crucial factor.

Better off playing someone experienced out of position.

Wellbeck is brutal in those situations

you can't knock his workrate but Christ he needs to work on his striking instinct imo.

In fairness I'd put that one down to Sanchez holding on to it for too long.

I think he's a bit like a child in front of goal. He gets very excited and has tunnel vision. If he can just compose himself get his head up and practice striking he'll be perfect. Good header good lobber? if thats a thing.

No way Welbeck ran 10 yards alongside him in a straight line, should have ran wide.

They both ran in a straight line. He should have gone further wide but in the situation that it was sanchez held on too long. Also could have played it ahead of welbz instead of to his feet

Sanchez held on because he had too Welbeck didn't pull wide, watch it again it's was 110% poor movement for Welbeck.

That said minor point in an otherwise very good game from Arsenal

Edit and he wins a Peno:) better run there

Tayto needs to knock a few more players during a game cause they seem to step it up when he does :pac:

Yes indeed. Since I yoked him he has been brilliant.
    Who else needs a tongue-lashing?

very impressed with todays performance. Particularly the front three welbeck-sanchez-giroud in respect to their pressing, we really miss that as a team. great front 3

I would be more of the mind that they both should have moved wider forcing colocini to choose.

But like you said a minor point in a very good performance

Give it to Welbeck he might score a hat trick in the next two minutes :pac:
