Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    +1

I know Liverpool are not doing great, but I don't agree with this cockiness of thumping them...it'll be a even contest but we must nick it.

Not about been cocky but I can't believe how negative some of you are. This Liverpool is awful, we have better players going forward then them. If we play as good as we did agaisn't Newcastle we beat them.

What if arsenal play as well as their last away league game.

Luckily Liverpool aren't as clinical as Stoke!

Well they are ahead of them in the table and beat them 2 weeks back.

That was a home game and Liverpool were very lucky to win it. We will beat Stoke at home, they are a different beast at their own ground.

Too many of you are making this Liverpool team out to be Chelsea or City. If we play well we beat them but if we don't we will lose. I fancy us.

    This is true.

The current Liverpool team is poo. Either we beat them or we beat ourselves and drop points.

hopefully Ox wil start to give us drive from midfield, he will partner Flamini in the centre with Debuchy, Chambers, Merts and Gibbs as a back4 with Cazorla behind Welbeck, Giroud and Sanchez. Walcott and Podolski to feature too at some point.

I think it will be Debuchy or Monreal at CB with Per. Would love to see Chambers at DM but wont happen

    Can't see the win.

Ramsey, Kos, Ozil and Wilshire. I wouldn't call it thread bare thats a little OTT, We have enough to win our Attacking is way better then Liverpool's. Both Defences are weak but we are a little better in that position too.

hope podolski gets at least 20 mins tomorrow if not a start! He could score for fun against a donkey like brad jones

Ususal 69th minute substitution, no matter what's going on during the actual game.

There not starting though for whatever reason.

It means we have to make do with players that usually wouldn't start like coq maybe, who has been recalled from Charlton.

    That's thread bare.

We come from different starting points so!

Without starting to put words in your mouth, it's like you're making excuses before the game starts!!! This is as strong as we've been in a good few weeks now in my opinion.

United game was Nov, Kos and Ox both played since then.

Whatever about what we've had before we have a serious amount of talent missing tomorrow to not accept that is silly

Kos, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshire, Ozil, that's 5 of our best 11

Go with 0-1 with Sanchez being the scorer.

Got to think that Alexis will score at some stage, he's on a mini drought at the moment

    Giroud 1-3 away win

Ox was fully involved in training yesterday so looking like he will start. Walcott too, so he will almost certainly be on the bench

I hope Wenger and the team are prepared today as Pool will come at them from the off like last season and like Stoke did. Keeping possession and accurate passing needed for the first 20 mins until things settle down. Cool heads needed today.

Big time. An early goal for them would be disaster for us. Can only see a draw. Sterling will give us huge trouble and will finish this time. But we will definitely get chances.bi think we will get more. Let's hope we take them.

Sterling 2-3 away win (big odds)

I'm thinking Stoke type game but Liverpool let us back in to win it.

Ox is a huge plus. He will boss the centre against pool.

This is a time to play smart. Tayto is spot on.

One thing we've done fairly well all season is create chances. Liverpool have not defended well.

Why take a risk by allowing them into the game? The more we keep both teams pegged back a bit, the more we can rely on a moment from Giroud/Sanchez/Welbeck ... which will come.

Keep Ox and Flamini covering the defence and no silly stuff.

I don't believe Liverpool are good enough to break us down unless we hand it to them.

It's pretty obvious Rodgers is gonna send Liverpool out all guns blazing like stoke and like anfield last year, especially with kos missing.

We have to be expecting this and weather the storm, get stuck into the tackles and not be bullied, not singling ozil out but he looked like a boy in that defeat last year, that's where we need someone to stand up and show we won't be bullied.

    Really buzzing for it now.

I stand by this, let's do it.

We always seem to get stronger as games go on(Anderlecht excepted) so I'm not sure I buy that

They took it as a personal insult and that's when I noticed the real bitterness

Then after we took enough crap of them we just starting biting back

I have a really big dislike for them since that incident

@Arsenal: #Arsenal team v Liverpool: Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Chambers, Gibbs, Flamini, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Alexis, Giroud, Welbeck

    Happy with that XI
