Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just said when a ref sends a home player off he gives every decision to the home team for the rest of the game.

Disagree fully, he did not "jump out of the way", he picked a side like most keepers do, it was blasted over where he was standing.

Didn't hear that, he must have meant it ironically given that Mertesacker should have had a penalty and that QPR's one wasn't as that is the only way it fits with the rest of Keown's analysis.

Nah. He saw the ball coming and got scared.

Don't like it up 'em and all that

Wenger brings off one of our best and busiest players who hasn't featured all year while there are very tired players out there

No he said it after the arsenal player was through and was pulling on hoillets shirt, fell over and got the free kick and he booked the qpr player.

First rule of goalkeeping -- Always keep your eye on the ball.

Maybe AW should bring on a 2nd goalkeeper - after all it is the mighty QPR we're playing at home!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,569 ✭✭✭Nemeses2050

We're feckin sitting too-too deep aka Liverpool

The question is after scoring a second, did we look like scoring again with 10 men.

if the answer is no, then defend.

Lol, indeed! With that said a win is a win so feck it, 3 points was all that mattered today :D

Game should have been over at half-time but a win is a win.
We don't make things easy for ourselves at Arsenal.

Giroud's a lucky boy that we held on there. Fcuking idiot.

Actually thats about the worst thing you can do as a gk for a peno. Its all about reading the movement of the player.

Not having that. Rosicky's first game in months. He did well to last as long as he did.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,694 ✭✭✭emmetlego

Poor. Great for Tomas to score the 2nd, delighted for him, he's been a great servant…. We should have had a clear peno for the kick on Mert, Debuchy did win the ball, so that wasn't a peno either, but WTF was Giroud at. Petulance and brat behaviour. Misses the next 3 too. Gob****e (sorry efb)

We deserved the win, and thankful that we held on in the end.

    Onwards and upwards. COYG

    Not at all.
Keep your eye on the ball. Better than guessing.

He was still covering loads of ground and eager for the ball as you would when just back and fit.
Walcott should have been brought on for Welbeck who was very poor. It would have provided an out ball.
