Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    And that's not feasible

Not in one go but can be done in two or 3 transfer windows.

get a world class CB this coming transfer window and then get another one and a GK in the summer

Words fail me.... Absolutely hopeless. There was I thinking a draw would be a good result.

Farcical defending but to be expected.

Gibbs is shocking in the final 3rd, couldn't cross his legs.

No where near good enough for an attacking wing back.

Gibbs is very poor but he's not the only one out there.
    Shocking gutless performance.
We could be 4 or 5 down.
    Not good enough.

We have a WC CB he needs a decent partner and a strong DFM in front

    Doubt Kos is 100% fit

and we have all our defeners back yet still look shocking.

    tbh u cant blame wenger.

the actual defenders have been shocking and no manager in the world could have prevented that.

only thing wenger can do is get rid of the whole defence and spend 100m on a whole new back 4 and a world class gk,

yeah you cant blame the manager , its not like he is the one who goes out and buys the players that occupy the defensive positions.

For me this is another one of those United, Liverpool, Chelsea performances we should be 4/5 down to Southampton fcukin Southampton

No more chances, as far as I am concerned. Wretched. We will struggle to get into the top 4 by the season end.

No he had last summer to fix it up and he left us shorter than last season. Hes finished, I cannot wait to see the back of him.

Look at our injuries though, any team would struggle.

Imagine chelsea without all those players.

These players are so called professional footballers. the mistakes they have made have all been down to common sense that even a sunday league team dont make

They are just not afraid of Wenger's wrath....because he does not have any..

Cech rotting on the bench at Chelsea while we have nothing near that quality in our starting team. Shame its Mourinho and we might have been able to tempt him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,346 ✭✭✭ErinGoBrath

Any second now Sanchez is going to leap 7 feet into the air and beat one of the Saints CB's to one of our looping wayward crosses...

Mert has turned into the big softy that everyone bullies in school.
    No presence in either box.

Its not luck or coincidence. Theres a reason why it keeps happening. Profile of player and poor outdated training methods would be my top shouts followed by being overplayed. Its the managers fault.

umm we are playing our full strength backline and the reason why we are losing is because of them!

fair enough if we are unable to create much chances(we have actually) or get dominated in midfield(we havn't) due to lots of midfielders and attacking players injured but fact is we have not.

we have maytches southampton in midfield and we have created enough chances this whole game to score a couple of goals.

we are losing simply because our strongest baclkline has failed us big time. not lack of midfield and attacking injuries

have u seen the goals we conceded? they have nothing to do with team chemistry.

Kos being unfit is no excuse for example doing a simple backpass that someone on there death bed could make.

what about Shez antics for the first and second goal? whats that got to do with not playing with the current backline much?

If Wenger has a swipe at the ref I'll be mortified

so are you saying kos isn't good enough or its Wenger fault he made an individual error no manager can foresee?

This is pathetic! What a crap start to the new year. What worries me the most is that we are so predictable.

Very very poor today and had no heart for a fight at all.
Very worrying. Bullied by feckin Victor Wanyama who many said wasn't good enough.

    In a word: weak

Individual errors are all over the league this time of year.

We dropped a point because of the defence.

Giroud is more at fault though.

There was talk about a league title in here at start of season.
We are now fighting it out for fourth with Southampton, West Ham, Liverpool and Spurs.
Pretty embarrassing but was to be expected.

His not good enough today. Simple. All of the back line have made shocking mistakes.

Not Wenger fault. Shambolic defending. You don't need to tell a professional defender to do the basics that even Park football defenders do.

It's like telling a bus driver how to change gears. Basic ****ing skill

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

There's just so many excuses and problems I don't think Arsene has any hope on fixing them, we need change from the board room down.

This isn't a football club we watch on more its a business being ran efficently
