Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's 2 poor efforts from Campbell now. I am willing to give him more time, but I'm yet to see anything that some here were clambering for him to start or get more game time.

    Walcott needs to come off.
He looks tired and is offering nothing.

A fully fit Theo scores that.

    Shocking theo

    Ah, jaysus Theo!

    Lacking sharpness for sure.

    Awful miss by Theo!

Akpom on for Theo, and Sanchez out to the wing for me!

Finishing has been dreadful tonight complete lack of confidence. The should have buried that! And Campbell should have had maybe 2.

    Cazorla is playing very well.

It's his first game after a year out...give the lad a break!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

To be fair to Campbell I wouldnt have my full confidence if the likes of Sanogo, the departed Podolski and Akpom were getting into the squad ahead of me. He is the type of player that needs to have the managers full confidence and a run of games in the team. No doubting the lads quality, it was all there to see in last years World Cup.

    In a poor quality group

I must be the only one who has seen good bits of play from Campbell, rarely gives it away and is willing to try things.

Anyway most of the team are way off with shooting tonight.

Look he's a professional footballer and shouldn't need to be mollycoddled to get the best out of him.

If you're givin a chance you need to prove yourself.
    Its really that simple.

Sanchez has given the ball away over a dozen times too today.
He does try to get it back though.

What's ozil excuse so, cause all I keep hearing is he will be brilliant once he has settled.

Dominating now. Just need the goal to finish it off

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

Last 10 minutes will be huge for Theo's recovery you can see he's smelling it again

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,533 ✭✭✭Colonialboy

Its a good performance, solid, nothing spectacular.
Everyone is playing in a team and formation that has never not even in a training game been setup this way.

PLus will be tired after xmas.
Get Sanchez off give the lad a break..

Amazingly we have not repeated the corner that got us our goal .

He always does. But the good far outweighs the bad...

    Terrible decision

Poor decision for the yellow card for Sanchez. I feel the ref has been buying into Hull's falling over all afternoon

Part time ref seeing his chance to book a WC player there that's all it was

No such thing as a poor group in a World Cup. Italians, England and Uruguay are hardly poor teams anyways.

Sanchez can do whatever he wants!

Apparently a two footed tackle off the ground is a brilliant tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,117 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

    Great goal.

I'll forgive him giving the ball away!!!

    Well taken goal that :D:D

Cazorla and Sanchez great link up play and great finish. Ox has stepped up the tempo since he came on aswell which was badly needed. Sanchez work rate for a lad that barely gets a rest is phenomenal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,483 ✭✭✭brianregan09

Where would be at all this season without him

He did well under a few crosses in the first half but not really tested all game good to have real competition for Chez

Do Arsenal play more back passes to the keeper than any other team?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123
