Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That Sanchez could turn out to be a good player.

That's twice he should be off.

Stupid from Coquelin again, what is he playing at and how is he still on the pitch?

    Stupid challenge

And absolutely no need for it in a game we're 2 up in and 5 mins left. Brainless.

I had to actually do a google search to see ig Maguire's name was actually "Big Maguire" because that's what he's been called all game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,694 ✭✭✭emmetlego

That was a leg breaker. I've admired his tenacity and willingness to break up play, but that needs to be cut out, plain stupid!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

That's a shocker of a challenge; he should be off for that. Indeed, he shouldn't have been still on to make that "tackle".

Exactly what happened with Ozil played on with an injury and months out

Anyone know what happened or are we all just blaming Wenger?

    Is Walcott's contract up soon?

I didn't mention Wenger at all!! It's not always about him

Ox should have signalled to come off or walked the game out. Ozil was his own fault he shared injury after came

Delighted to see Walcott get a decent run out today. We'll be much more dangerous with him firing.

****in Anfield Rap. I swear to jesus.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,756 ✭✭✭emergingstar

Walcotts off the ball running is brilliant, he will get in behind loads and create aload of space by making them

    And Ozil due back

    Delicious

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

Can't wait to see Ozil, Sanchez and Walcott on the pitch together

Be great to have Ozil, Sanchez, Walcott in the team at the same time. Frightening attacking options we have, very important that we keep these 3 guys fit now. Would love us to go out and splash 50+ million on 2 players a top centre half and defensive midfielder, players with a bit of steel and leadership qualities. If we did that and kept our key players fit there is no reason why we cant go all the way in the Champions Lge.

Lads. We scored from a corner.

A tantalizing possibility, although i think if we were spending that sorta money on players they would prob be cup tied already.

Any world class players who could play with us in the champions league that we could get this window?

The one that beat the first man too :D
Then when we thought we had it learned we started taking short ones.

I make it 2 of our last 5 FA Cup goals. Mert today and Koscielny in the final. The other 3 goals being Alexis today, Rambo running from midfield in the final and Santi's free kick in the final.

Ozil will create bucket loads with that attack ahead of him

So looking forward to his return

    Wenger in!

Love Sanchez, can't wait to see him Ozil, Walcott & Rambo together & firing.

And I'd love to win the FA cup & get 4th again. That'd be great.

Now, i'm gonna listen to that Tuesday Club Invincibles Special.

    Leave the Wenger in/out aside

Plenty to be positive about next 6 weeks abundance of players to come back, Monaco in CL and hopefully defensive reinforcements on the way

And the shower we love to hate up next at the emirates

So that crazy rumour that we'll sign Cavani and Khedira.

Imagine we did, and then signed Hummels too.

    Would our squad be complete?

This is all hypothetical obv but I guess my question is are we three great players from a complete squad?

Team selection is going to be interesting next few weeks

Coq starts next week for sure

Probably, but we could have the best squad in the world and we'd never win the league as long as we're plagued by injuries the way we are.

What a performance by Rosicky, he really put in a stint and the way he dribbles and takes on defenders is beautiful to watch. Him and Cazorla looked likea good pairing, think that Sanchez's great work might have overshadowed this somewhat.

Ospina to start the next game? I think Coquelin is a good stop-gap in place of Arteta until we sign somebody a level above, but he needs to be careful with his challenges, some very rash indeed. Although I did like his fierieness today, felt that was a quality that shone through the team today.

Cavani getting fined and dropped for two weeks by PSG today helps our cause :)

He played well today aside from the stupid 2 footed challenge that these days would normally see a red! Looks good though over all :) Hopefully Wenger doesn't use this an excuse not to sign a DM!

Hope not he is a useful squad player, he is not out answer at DM

    But better than flamini

Only if Arteta and Flamini are still out though.
He was good today but very reckless and could have been shown red. He needs to improve his passing too as it can be a bit heavy.
We weren't great today but we won and that's what matters.

Good vibes about Coquelin though. He can improve.
