Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yea i have because Ozil has been injured for nearly a year now(last time i saw that world class Ozil from RM play for arsenal was back in November/December of last year)

    :pac::pac::pac::pac:

Aston Villa a few weeks ago springs to mind.

Wilshere was excellent for England. Hopefully he can keep that up. Chambers was much improved compared to San Marino. He's out for the Hull game though.

Haven't seen much of the international football but heard both Wilshere and Sczez got MOTM so hopefully they will come back brimming with confidence.

Just Welbeck injury isn't to serious or we could see Akpom getting thrown in at the deep end.

Hodgson said Welbeck rolled his ankle slightly but that the doctors aren't worried about it.

Giroud's operation went very well according to Wenger (talking on Bein Sports) and he could return sooner than expected

You mean that Daily Fail article that used "The Football Grapevine" as their source?

    Yeah... I'm not worried.

Edit: Also the Bild basically called it bull****.. And when Bild are calling you out on bull**** that's when you know you're a **** source for news.

Good to see Jack getting his fitness back, can clearly see his form lifting from it too.

If we could get say Javi Martinez and Hummels in exchange for Ozil, even if we had to pay 20million on top, I wouldn't be too unhappy based on his current form.

It is bull****, Ozil won't even be fit by January, won't be able to pass a medical. Why do people read this crap?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

The Daily Mail would be gutted if he went. Their bullplop articles and downright hatred of him and Arsenal is whats filling their sports section.

Possibly on the bench for Anderlecht, he can't be totally unfit seeing as he's been doing individual training for over a month now?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Walcott is the one player we don't want to rush back. When fit, he is often our best player. For me, he has been the biggest injury loss by far.

It's often said that the longer a player is out injured, the better he becomes according to the fans.

No danger of that happening here so! :p

    I'd take that.

    Apparently...

Bayern Munich wont offer anything like that for Ozil, they're renowned for getting players on the cheap after 'poor' spells of form or when contracts are winding down, they're an arrogant lot & I'd expect they'll try to sign him for a lot less than that.
That's even if there's any truth in the rumour of course...

In saying that, I'd happily wave him off if Reus & Hummels came in to replace him though :)

I'd like Martinez ahead of Reus - more of a pressing need

The Daily Mail are the only ones saying Bayern are interested.. I'm not worried.

Also Ozil pretty much squashed the rumours yesterday on Twitter.

If that is the case, we just get someone else.

Chile not playing till tomorrow - probably the early hours of Thursday, so unlikely that Sanchez will start against Hull

    Great vid, deserves more assists!

By Daily Mail logic, surely his absence should have only improved their chances of picking up a win.

Doubt he could have done anything about Big John O'Shea though in fairness :)

Just watching BBC news there and we are now the most expensive club in the UK for fans. £2013 is our dearest season ticket, cheapest season ticket is Man City at £299.

I take it that's the dearest for a single, non-Club Level seat? £2013 wouldn't get you much at Club level

Yeah but then you'd have to visit Manchester.

Yeah but then you'd have to visit Manchester.

Or you can get a season ticket at Barcelona for 103 euros :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,254 ✭✭✭shano_88

Arsenal season ticket does include 7 extra games compared to other clubs. It's still expensive mind.

The worst city I've ever visited, it's no wonder City and United have to pay astronomical wages to attract players. It's a miserable place.

You can easily tell it's an international week. Talking about how nice various cities are or aren't :pac:
