See response above, having fans in mass with your mentality will keep the club from pressurising change, luckily there aren't many.

How can you still defend Arsene how can you still think he is the best we can get?

That's a copout. I'm not defending Wenger. I don't think he's the best we can get. However, do I see anybody better that we can get now? No, I don't. Again, who would you bring in? And answer it this time.

We need the best money can get in management , Chelsea do it and so do Man Utd. What makes us different to get the best we can.

Then it will take that manager months every years to get it right, will the likes of you accept that. If you are making us out to be in total freefall.

Yes I would love the club to make a change, take a risk atleast I will know they are trying to be successful. I would accept if we got it wrong

I don't accept what they are doing now which is running the club as a cash cow, success is not a priority at the club

Sh*t game, deserved the result we got.

There is absolutely NOTHING any of us can say that hasn't already been said a thousand times here before.

Yawn fest watching arsenal these days

I think Wenger was happy enough if we came out of there with a 0-0 a bit like last year after a few trashings. Swansea weren't out of this world they had two chances and they took them. They weren't amazing, so lets not make them out to be. We were awful end off on are part.

Genuinely with his wage we could attract a lot of top names. He is been severely overpaid for his performance.

Copout is your suggestion stick as we are.

My job isn't to find a manager but City, Chelsea, Bayern, Madrid, Real, Atletico etc. etc. have all found managers in recent years and had success, fooling yourself into thinking a new manager can't be got is ridiculous

I hate these type of deflecting posts.

So are you happy with the current situation?

I couldn't care less who we get in, there are people paid mega money to find the right manager players etc let them earn there money. Did anyone know of Wenger when he arrived at Arsenal? No so naming names and debating whether or not we could get them is pointless and stupid.

The fact is we are stale very stale and something needs to give and most our problems are down to the manager.

I think Wenger needs going but I won't accept a dodgy replacement just to please a few fans who won't Wenger out but aren't thinking of the club in the longterm. IF you said to me that We have one more season with Wenger and then we will have a top quality replacement in the summer then I would accept it now.

I just don't think many of you are thinking about the club in the longterm.

Don't worry, you're a long way off being that and he is the least of your problems at the moment. Made an excellent assist tonight and put in a great shift.

Arsenal lost due to the relaxed nature with which some of your more experienced players take towards the game and a right back who will never be a top right back.

With the wages Wenger is on I'm sure we'd have a queue out the door for the job.

I'm sure something could be arranged with Klopp as an example.

    Are managers cup tied: :p

Nobody is asking for or expecting the club to make a dodgy change. Nothing will happen mid season anyway but to stick with him thinking we can't do better.

Wenger could be a success elsewhere he is just stale here fresh out of energy, passion and ideas.

He is yes. Consistently getting arsenal in the champions league and won 2 trophies in last year. Who's better to replace him???

Watching us crumble live again was just awful...it's like clockwork at this stage.

I feel so sorry for Sanchez.

    Who though?

Guardiola wants the Utd job after Van Gaal. Klopp is tied to Dortmund until 2018.

Take a risk on Roberto Martinez maybe? Or an overseas manager like Unai Emery, Rudi Garcia?

Generally curious as to who you think Arsenal should get as Manager.

If Wenger has half as much control as he apparently does then he is the problem, simple as.
Mourinho doesn't just rock up at a new club and change everything himself, he has a whole team that does it in different ways and areas of the field.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭Marty McFly

Sure fcuk it leave things be lets pretend it's all rosy and that we could never get a better manager.

Sure who in there right mind would want to work with Sanchez, Ozil and earn over 7 million a season.

I can't think of any managers out there right now that could rival them managers at those clubs. Simone won't leave A.Madrid, he's too loyal. Klopp many are writing him off. Lauren Blanc is he a great manager or is it cause he has money to spend on any player he wants at PSG. Maybe give it to a unknown who might turn us into world beaters or make us worse. It's really a nervy time for us. I personally think Wenger isn't going anywhere to be honest unless he gets the sack.

Listed a few there in my last post but genuinely really like the look of Garcia. Wouldnt mind Low.

I am not looking for or expecting a sacking mid season but the sooner he goes the better. If the next manager is indentified and is available in an ideal world great.

But only the fans can drive change now by consuming the club with pressure from the stands

I don't know who will replace him as I only watch the EPL.
But to think Wenger is doing a god job is madness.
He has us playing rubbish, is clueless on tactics, his training methods seem to be poor and he can no longer motivate.
Mourinho was right with his "specialist in failure" remark.

But he's comfortable and has way too much power, who's going to question him?. The owners are happy. Those are the ones to please it seems, he's making them money so why sack him. unless the fans turn on him (I doubt many will) then we are stuck with him until he leaves on his own accord.

Simeone is apparently City's first choice to replace Pellegrini should he leave at the end of the season. They can pay him more than Arsenal can.

Low will not leave the Germans before Summer 2016.

    Klopp won't leave Dortmund.

It's not difficult to see at all Wenger. YOU'RE PLAYING A FULLBACK THAT CAN'T HEADER THE BALL AT CENTRE BACK!!!!!

Ronald Koeman.... good football and looks like a great tactician. Getting the best out of a team who sold a scatter of top players.

Basically any manager that helps get the hunger back . Never wanted wenger gone before.

Low is a unknown on the club scene. Garcia got ripped apart by the Munich, and the Italian league isn't up to much. Maybe he could do a job but can he out play the Jose's of this world, I doubt it.

Low will not leave the Germans before Summer 2016.

    Klopp won't leave Dortmund.

But the other 3 are very attainable so? They all are very astute tactical managers. Why dont we be proactive and get Simeone before City sack pellegrini so?

Garcia maybe. I'd lump him in with the "chance" though.
Klopp won't leave Dortmund in this state. Maybe at the end of the season.
Simeone, can't see why he'd leave Atletico for us.
Low has no meaningful club management experience.

I don't know, take a look at the end of the season. But sacking Wenger and hoping that one of the mentioned names leaves during the season is a bit mad.
