Hi I have been looking to get into high tension bodyweight training and calisthenics for a while but find it hard to train alone just getting tips of YouTube. Was wondering if they are any classes going on in Dublin or any groups training that I could learn from. Thanks

Type 'cult calisthenics' into YouTube & facebook. Highly recommended instructor.

There were groups of lads meeting in public parks doing stuff, but I think it might have stopped.

It was posted about in the fitness forum

If searching posts 2 users I think were involved were Ant11 and ferike1

    Think that's finished now.

Yeah outdoors pretty much finished, interest/dedication dropped. People would say they'd come and not turn up etc

Ferike1 still trains in Raw and I think does a bit with others on Saturdays. Haven't seen him in a while so not too sure. It's a 10er PAYG in there.

What part of Dublin are you in?

If your looking for PT session etc You won't find better than Aido, he's unreal. Kavadlo brothers didn't know what to do with him.

If your near Naas there's these guys, very good level, sound bunch.

Thanks for all the replies. I am living between phibsborough and glasnevin but work in city centre. would there be enough interest to start this outdoor training again? Ant 11 do u know if Ferike1 runs an offical class or is it just within the gym?

We were well advertised and had plenty of people contacting us on Facebook with good intentions but that was it. It's a hard time of year to start it up too. In Raw it's not an official class as in there's no designated space etc it's people who are into calisthenics come to Raw and train with Ferike1. Raw has great setup for pull up bars/rings etc (again I'm not sure if it's still going) maybe send a PM to Ferike1.

Another place that's class based and has bodyweight training is with Andy Myers in Terenure. http://www.alwaysmove.com

Or you could check out Emmet Louis Physiculture. I think he PT's out of Raw.
