Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Games fairly balanced score line aside.

Each side should have more cards and 1 each off.

Common sense spoken from a Chelsea fan, I never imagine the day :pac:

It's a lot better then last year at least we ain't 4 nil down. Ozil has been awful. We need to threaten more cause Cech looks like he could have gone for a cuppa tea in that half and still we wouldn't have had a shot at goal.

    I would say Kos

Can I have some of what you're smoking. His final ball is atrocious.

Anyone else think that Sky Sports are piping up the argument on the sidelines? Aside from that one incident, they haven't shown any confrontation yet keep mentioning it. Shreeves called in too to give his bit, clown.

Agreed on Ozil, Wilshere and Welbeck.

But were in no way lucky to be only 1 nil down it's been a very even game.

I'm hating that Welbeck is getting deeper and deeper. Ozil needs to really pick it up in the big games. I'm really worried Chamber's or Kos will make a rash challenge and get themselves sent off.

Same problem as always for Arsenal against top teams, just completely unable to get the ball forward with any real sort of fluency.

Played the best pass of the game to Alexis. One poor touch is the box and he gets all of the criticism.

Apart from Hazards maradona impression I thought it was really scrappy.

Hoping something kicks off and Wenger lamps Mourinho

That would be gas alright :p

Yea I mean that it's been pretty close for the most part. Far more entertaining than the one-sided affair I was expecting.

Sorry I meant it in a way that they are 1 nil up and their best attacking player hasn't had any stamp on the game at all yet. If Costa wakes up in the second half we'll be very lucky to get away with a one goal deficit.

Chambers and Kos get booked cod they are the most involved players. Chambers just needs to be a bit more clever

Half-truth, our build-up play is great, it's just our indecisiveness to do anything with it when we get near Chelsea's box.

It's headlines for them really to stoke the flames. They will put gasoline to the flames to whoever loses.

Need to get Chambers off before the ref does it for us.

Have played alright so far, if Jack was a bit sharper we'd probably be level. Chelsea's midfield isn't as solid as it usually is against us.

Chambers booking was the most clever moment our defense have had all season. About time they cynically stopped a counter attack.

I still think Ozil has really not lived up to the hype when he transferred in. Maybe just not suited to the English game?

Costa really looks lost out there when the big teams show up. He probably score a hat trick after me saying this :pac:

Not today but some of his yellows were silly

Can't really complain about the scoreline at HT. Happy to see Arsenal playing with a bit more maturity.

Teams lucky to have 11 on the pitch

Can't say Chelsea have been any better. Nice bit of play by Hazard and a couple of set pieces have been the only things I can remember them doing which could have come to anything.

I reckon if it came down to it, Wenger would take Mourinho in a fist fight

The gas thing is that the ref has also let a fair few things go that he should have had.

True but same could be said if we get our act together in the final third.

Wilshere really should have scored already we've shown they can be cut open.

Still a lot to play for.

Arsenal need to step things up if they're going to have a sniff of a result.

He's keeping it for a late slide on Cech so we can see John Terry in goals for the last ten minutes :D

That's better. If we can keep that up and I'm confident well score.

Arsenal have been the better side.

Arsenal playing quite well here but you just get the feeling Chelsea will punish any little slip up.

My assessment too, unfortunately. We need to be absolutely clinical if we're to claw anything back from this.

2 shocking clearances in a row.

Chelsea's box looks very congested...looks like the bus has pulled in.

Welbeck is surrounded every time he gets a touch.

    Hazard is pretty good

Any kind of pace really has us ****ting ourselves trying to defend.

Welbeck is surrounded every time he gets a touch.

A lot more often than I'd like, I've noticed that he doesn't come to collect the ball and the Chelsea players have obviously copped on because they are just making that extra step and collecting the ball virtually unchallenged.

    Shocking.

If Ozil isn't in the middle of the pitch, he isn't worth anything.

Like Mata, you only get the great things out of them through the middle.

How Is his position relevant to that horror touch?
