    Hi
I bought a red oak Tree and a white cherry Tree

What distance to sow them both apart?
They will be at end of garden plenty of space there.

Also if I got some apple trees ( not sure which type yet) what distance to sow them.

    Thank you!

How much space do you have? The red oak is going to be a big tree, and it depends on what is on the other side of the boundary. If it is other gardens, then it would want to be maybe 20 ft from the fence and 30 to 40 ft from the cherry tree.

Our last house was on a quarter acre, and a tree like a red oak would have taken up a fair chunk of the garden, you might be better to put it just a couple of meters from the fence since it will not be causing any problems on the other side.

We did have an oak in front of the house, but it was on (just within) the boundary and was fine both visually and in its effect on the garden. Till the county council insisted it had to be cut down! Apparently, if at some point in the distant future, they wanted to widen the road (25 years later it still hasn't happened) it might possibly have been in the way, in spite of being in line with the hedges on the rest of the (rural) road.
