Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It would be understandable Falcao being a bit nervous and easing himself back in.

Maybe LVG is taking this up as not being bothered and taking it easy.

Falcao is world class if we can ease him in and get him firing then he will make some difference. It was totally obvious against Stoke he looked nowhere near fit.

I said it a few weeks ago but Vidic was the same, lot of niggly injuries his first season back but was able to get back to playing regularly at an older age than Falcao. He'll be vital over Christmas. It'll be a real luxury being able to start Rooney/RVP or something on the 26th and Falcao and Wilson on the 28th imo or some variation of them. Especially if Di Maria is still out at that point. For that to work Falcao needs a bit of game time before that however.

Yeah but what I mean is I don't think Falcao is rusty or plain unfit, I think he's rushed his rehab and his knee is nowhere near where it should be in terms of condition and it could be quite a while before we see anything from him.

If Van Gaal says he's fit to play just 20 minutes then I think it's general fitness rather than his knee

It should do him some good, get back to 100% and be raring to go in the new year and score a heap in another top European league

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,500 ✭✭✭Your Airbag

4th vs 5th and the winner takes 3rd place. Can't wait for this and looking forward to the teamsheets.

An impressive display here would be a great way to start the week.

My personal opinion/prediction is that it won't happen for Falcao, I don't think he will ever figure consistently for us and we won't take up the option in the summer. Time will tell though.

Has a great charisma/arrogance about him alright. Night and day between him and moyes! Can't wait for this game, disappointed Herrera isn't starting.

Manchester United have been drawn against Accrington or Yeovil away in the third round of the FA Cup. #MUFC

Yeah, a decent draw in the fa cup. Away to accrington or yeovil.
We shouldn't have a problem there

Yeovil haven't been great this season so another league 1 loss is unlikely :)

Accrington Stanley Football Club is an English football club based in Accrington, Lancashire. The club participates in Football League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system.

The club was formed in 1968, with the town regaining a club with league status after 44 years when they were promoted as champions of the Football Conference on 15 April 2006.

Ilyas Khan saved the club from possible oblivion in late 2009 and stepped down as chairman in 2012 after keeping the club financially secure. Former Club President Peter Marsden was appointed chairman soon after.

    ;)

Said it tongue in cheek, can't get the smilies on my phone, obv it's a great cup draw and I know the team is lot more cohesive than earlier in the season.

At least Shaw is nearing a return, we can always move Rojo into centre and go 451 or 433

Fellaini is clearly an absolute disaster out there tonight.

If Van Gaal doesn't swap him at half time, I don't know what he's up to.

He's having a bit of a mare but so is McNair and Mata is having no influence. Herrera on please

Someone needs to step up and get their foot on the ball, we've no tempo, Mata having no influence at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,229 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

    Shíte from back to front.

Young is the only one to come out of that 45 with a bit of credit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

I hope he drops this 3-5-2 formation soon, the 3 centre halves are just not used to it.
Fellaini reverting to type again with some shocking passing. Hope they get a serious bolliking during the break.

A win. A win that we probably did not deserve. Some say, the best kind of win.

So bloody delighted, thats what great teams do. Play badly but get the 3 points in the end

Utterly undeserved. Rooney was dirt, Fel and Carrick were reliving last year till Herrera came on. Young blew hot and cold, good going forward, useless going back.

RVP was brilliant and my MOTM.

Up to third, somehow. Considering how poor we've been, it's great that we're pulling away from Arsenal and Spurs in the race for top 4.
