Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why would he be getting us to defend?

Just put on Soccer AM,Utd's best looking fan Rachel Riley is on,

They should put Helen out to grass and give Rachel the job!!

"Us" as in the "Liverpool Us". Looks like a pool fan tweeting.

Probably for the best! I will be avoiding that as much as possible, it's going to be a magnet for cards and it's difficult enough to hold your tongue in regular match threads!

Possibly because it's match-related & that thread isn't open yet. It's been posted in their thread too.

Gave my girlfriend a heads up about Helen there a few months back "Look, all I'm saying is that IF she ever does come looking for me, I'm leaving you"

Would be very disappointed with anything but a win; the form we're in vs the form Liverpool are in, we should be beating them.

Form in terms of points yes, but in those 5 games weve been mostly shocking in terms of football quality- weve been haunted to pick up 15 points in those games.

Raging, I just presumed that as it's a big game it would be on at 4.

Burd is a massive dope for Christmas so a few months ago she booked tickets to see The Snownan in the Bord Gais, it just so happens it's on at half 2 tomorrow.

    Fcuk Christmas and the Snowman.

Expecting to give them a trouncing, gonna go 4-1 United.

Bring a smartphone and claim the shits

Southampton losing, with us to play Liverpool tomorrow is a good result.

not challenging for the title, top 4 is achievable. Anything that helps us build up a gap there is a good thing!

A win tomorrow consolidates third place. A must win game.
No surprise with Chelsea or city.

S'hampton have lost and West Ham have dropped points neither were going to e long term top 4 challengers though but depending on arsenals result today, I think the current top 3 will finish in the top 4 and it depends who else can take the last UCL spot.

If City had drawn a win tomorrow would have made it 3 between them and United. Maybe Chelsea are insurmountable but certainly not City.

If Utd can keep all 11 players on the field and play with anything remotely close to their potential then we should win fairly convincingly.

    - Our impressive home record
    - Liverpools abysmal form of late
    - RVP and Rooney finding form
    - DDG playing out of his skin
    - Michael Carricks back shielding the defence
    - Liverpools lack of a credible striker
    - Mignolets lack of confidence
    - Liverpools defence

Logic points to a Utd win.

    Why am I not confident ? :(

I'm never too confident in games against Pool, always guarantee that they will be up for it as I imagine we are the team they want to beat the most every year. Sometimes form goes out the window and it all comes down to the day. Hopefully no slip ups and we get the points.

The leauge table since the window closed

So, eff all different from the actual one position wise - the gap to Chelsea and City is smaller due to the stupid points we dropped early on.

    Scrap the cap!

Lecister and Burnley were the stupid points lost this season so far.

I'm still absolutely mystified how we lost to Leicester. We conceded two soft goals for them to level it, then we panicked, threw everyone forward and were murdered on the counter by Championship and League 1 standard footballers.

We actually played some great football initially, esp. with ADM amazing chip but Leicester played the game of their lives. 5 shots on target, 5 goals.

It was just one of the games, a complete fluke on their part. Certs to be relegated.

If we had have gotten 3 points each from the games v. Leicester and Burnley we'd be sitting on 33 points now; 3 points behind City, with a win tomorrow bringing us level with them in 2nd.

That Leicester result in particular haunts my fúcking dreams.

I was at the AI final in 2012 when Donegal beat Mayo and the same day United beat the Pool. I remember it being a sign that the day would go well when I heard United were winning. Then 2014, United cruising to an easy win against Leicster, Donegal level with Kerry. Then the whole ****ing day implodes. Durkin and Blackett give away howlers and the whole day went to ****e. That haunts my dreams Stankratz. That haunts my dreams.
