    I just turned 30 in august.. what visa do i have to get to enter australia?
    How long does the visa last.. I am a plumber by trade

    417 whv which only lasts 12 months.

    189 skilled visa which gives you PR straight away.

    457 sponsored visa which is usually about 4 years but it can be harder to get from outside Australia as the employer doesn't know you etc..

    I'm sure theres more but these 3 above are probably the most common, ring a agent or the likes and find out your options. But don't bother using a agent to get the visa as they are a complete rip.

    If you have a trade and aren't in a rush, the 189 is the best to go for.

    I applied for my 417 when I was late 29's. Arrived here early 30 year old. once you aren't 31 when you land you are fine.
