Hi, its not an easy decision you are faced with so do take the time to weigh up your options. There may be more than you think. As already mentioned, Rose in the Academic Advisory is your very first port of call. Whatever you do, don't even think of leaving until you have at least spoken to her. It will be a few minutes well spent I promise. Here are her contact details:
    Phone (+353) 1 708 3368 - Email rose.donovan@nuim.ie

Also the college has a free counselling service for students. You don't have to have any mental health issues to avail of it and you might find it really helpful just to talk out loud to someone impartial about the decision you are trying to make. I guarantee it will make you feel clearer about things at the very least - https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie//campus-life/student-wellbeing-support/counselling

Location: Top Floor, Student Services Centre, North Campus, Maynooth University.

Drop-In Service Provided daily from 2.00 – 3.00 p.m. on a first come, first served basis -No appointment necessary for this service
or for an appt. Telephone 01-708 3554

Good luck with whatever you decide but make sure you at least get up tomorrow and make an appt. to talk to one of the above.
