    Hi folks,

In terms of applying for a Demand Deposit account, does this have to be done in branch or can it be done online/postal/over phone?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for that Paula,

It doesn't have to be my own branch does it?

    Hi b34mer23

Thanks for coming back to us.

The Demand Deposit Account can be opened in any branch of your choice. You'll need to bring along photo identification, either passport or driving licence will suffice. Also for proof of address, you will need a recent utility bill within the last 3 months.

We would also ask you to make an appointment when opening the account, this can be arranged by contacting your chosen branch by phone here or you can arrange it online here

    Hope this information helps.

Please feel free to contact us here again for any further questions you may have.

    Thanks
    Alison

    Hi folks,

There's a Bank of Ireland @ Work in my office next week, would I be able to apply for this account with them?

    Hi b34mer23,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes it would be possible to open a Demand Deposit account at your Bank of Ireland @ Work day. If you would like to send us a Private Message with your name, the company you're working in and a contact number, we can pass this on for an advisor on site to contact you for an appointment next week.

Please let us know if you need help with any other query.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
