Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apologies if this is in the incorrect thread.

Basically, about a month ago, a friend was using my phone (iphone 5c) and logged me out of the Facebook app.

When I tried to log back in, 'session expired' showed up. It still happens occasionally, but a quick Google search shows that if I sign up as a new Facebook user, using my same details, it logs me back in.

However, to update the phone to ios8, I temporarily deleted the Facebook Messenger app. Since reinstalling, I am greeted with 'session expired - please re-login to renew your session.' There is no function here to sign up as a new user, and it will not let me log in.

Has anyone else experienced this or a quick fix solution/idea would be greatly appreciated!
