Had anyone ever disabled the movement sensor in a PS3 controller? Our house PS3 has gone into some weird mode - you can navigate the PS3 menus by tilting the remote - holding it level causes rapid menu changes. I've tried the tiny reset button on the controller. Our house PS3 has gone into some weird mode - you can navigate the PS3 menus by tilting the remote - holding it level causes rapid menu changes.

I've tried the tiny reset button on the controller. Have it open at the moment and nothing obviously loose.

Is there any software way of disabling or recalibrating the tilt before I try remove a sensor?
