    Hello out there.

Im on a clinical placement for medicine in one of the major teaching hospitals. Im just wondering what if anything do other medical students get in terms of an allowance/stipend/accommodation while on attachment to peripheral hospitals and while on GP placement?

    Hope you can help!

Would supremely help if you said where you were. For TCD:
    1) SJH, AMNCH, Crumlin, Our Ladys Hospice, the Hermitage, St Patrick's, community psychiatric placements and Dublin GPs are all on your own dollar
    2) Naas General Hospital has accomodation for students, no travel expenses reimbursed
    3) The 'outer' GP placements are 2 weeks and they give €150 for accomodation or €75 for travel on those.
