Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been logging on to After Hours for a good while, during the day mostly, and I used to find it very entertaining - BUT these last few weeks I've found it a bit BORING - same old startups, debates, funny comments, rows and then another new thread takes over ....! Its like a weird repetitive pattern and i'm now wondering are you all robots?

I try to be original but there's only so much I can do.
I try to be funny but it's not always appreciated.

I find the most interesting topics appear when I have work or stuff to do. Give me a free day and I'll find the entire Internet bores me.

    A good while?

Ive been mooching around here years. All the funny posters got banned.

All thats left is the intellectual equivalent of brain fart selfies

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 212 ✭✭thrashmetalfan

this thread will end up like every other thread. about 5 pages long with people giving out about how the dole in this country is far too much and the unemployed are sucking the life out of Ireland. the same old same old.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,784 ✭✭✭KungPao

    I imagine the
    censorship
on here kills some of the potential, to be fair. You're not going to see many of the types of threads you'd see on some of the more "out there" forums around the WWW.

What are ya gonna do, huh?

Ive noticed its kinda got stale in here the last while no one thread seems to be keeping my attention like ive seen on here before.

The place seems more like a chat room or a Facebook page lately.

    Ah well :pac:

This thread right here is a perfect example of how most threads turn to **** on here.....

Someone brings up a topic but all it takes is one person to change the subject and its gone!.

I got bored by this thread. So I went searching for other threads about boring threads. Here is one from six years ago, I got bored after reading the first page. Could be interesting reading thereafter.

I always feel bad for poor old MT. and Maquiladora getting bombarded with "Will it snow right on my house tonight?" questions.

The only thing I've really noticed is people keep noticing stuff. Way too much noticing going on imo.

But are they noticing things in reality or just their perception of reality?

I have just noticed it's past 12 bells so I'm off to bed before I notice anything else worth noticing.
