Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If he's holding a bell, would that make him a bellend?

Wait until Brady at half time, either we haven't scored enough, or we've scored too much, or Keane's book is too long, he will just complain about everything during the break!

Hendrick has been shocking so far.... Too many misplaced balls against the worst international side in Europe!

We need a new set of everybody on the RTÉ soccer team. From Moloney all the way down to O'Donoghue. The only one I would keep would be Sadlier.

ugh, we've allowed the tempo to drop so much - we should be using this as an opportunity to make quick passing movements, but instead we're just so laboured...

Disappointed with the last 20 minutes. I said after the Georgia game that the type of football we played there was always going to be how we play with O'Neill (barring the odd walkover like this), but one thing his team's have always tended to do is to continue to push it forward in situations like this. Was not expecting us to sit back and take both feet off the gas Luke we have since the third.

Despite it being 3-0, there is a distinct lack of cutting edge to Ireland's play

Gibson and Hendrks have been awful in the middle, non existent for most of the half and when they do have giving it away to a shockingly poor team

Hendrick would struggle to get into the Gibraltar side

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

I'd take off Hendrick and throw on a second striker. Let Hoolihan play CM if Gibraltar ever lush forward and let him roam free otherwise.

Hopefully Gibraltar will get tired as the second half progresses so we can knock another 3 or 4 in.

I just don't get why Kerr isn't commentating. Never liked him as a pundit but he was genuinely brilliant in the booth for the World Cup.

Christ we've been poor since the 3rd. I still expect at least 6 as I'd imagine they'll receive a bit of a bollocking at half time.

Would love to see Brady brought on for the second half, the sort of player we need to up the tempo and create more chances

    Immediately thought you mean Liam?

Gibraltar are pure cat. Easily the worst international team I have ever seen.

There is 5 or 6 more goals in the second half if we are bothered.

Cunninghams eyebrows would be another useful tool we can call upon to confuse the goalkeeper even more

Am I the only one that whenever he is on half expects them to go back to the studio, and for there to be blood everywhere with everyone else clearly dead except Kenny. Sat there with a knife. With that half smiling, half frowning squinting expression of his plastered on his face, ready to do the show on his own as if nothing has happened.

Why is it nearly all white faces in the 'No to Racism' ad?

    Scrap the cap!

We have already got a few defensive injuries and don't have much cover there.
I'm not sure if the subs made might be in defence.

Or maybe take off one or two defenders and replace with forwards.

Maybe take off O'Shea or Wilson

It wasn't competition for places that caused Higginbotham to retire anyway.

Whats the quickest ever hat trick lads?

70 seconds. Still plenty of time for Robbie Keane to score another hat-trick in 69 seconds.
