The titles pretty much says it all, does any one know what they are ? There were loads of little tu es in the ground sticking up , tried to dig down to see what they were but are far enough down and their soft flexible tube breaks when you pull.

The hope was they were razor clams as the missus would be in heaven, but looking at you ube we were wrong.

Tube worms id say. Not good for anything.
Youll only get razors on huge tides, they were big enought this week tho. If the wind is blowing from the sea it will stop the tide receeding far enough. Ideally you want a big tide and a good blow towards the water. It can make a huge difference to the low water line and access to the razor beds.
Walk around and stomp your feet. You will see squirts of water coming out of the razor holes. Drop in a bit of table salt and the razor will come up to clean the burrow. When you do see the water squirting have a good look at the hole and keep an eye out for more the same shape. Not all holes will squirt the water. Its easier done with 2 people, one pouring the salt and the other following 10/15ft behind picking the razors.
its good fun. I got 80/90 a few weeks back with my 5 year old. He loves it.
