Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What ever happened to the next big thing, Jack Wilshere?

Too many niggling injuries at.the start of his career. Lost his rhythm and can't quite get it back.

Amazing how Rooney transforms into a sunday league player when playing for England. He's been shocking tonight but at least that free kick went in which will save some criticism.

I'd imagine Estonia is a brilliant away trip for the fans anyway, in spite of the football.

Best English player on the pitch.

It's becoming fashionable to have digs at Wilshere lately.

Well that's that chore done again for a while.

Can see England side suffering the same fate in France as it did in Brazil. Nothing really outstanding about any of them. Comparable to a mid-table premiere league outfit, if even that.
    Rubbish.

The problem is Hodgson. He is a footballing disease.

I think a point will be OK, we all know it's much harder to play against 10 plucky underdogs, the sending off didn't do England any favours. Any clean sheet is admirable, lot of fatigue, positive there's no injuries.

    And that's all I've got.

    Ah c'mon. . . .

Managers are always blamed with England

Rooney will drag them to the euros, their best player by far

Wilshere is great when he's not injured

Really? And what was the reason for England's exact same shortcomings at international tournaments prior to his arrival?

    Very good again today, MOTM.

Has started well this season for Arsenal argueably our best midfielder do far this season

Too much analysis going on, because this, genuinely, is what England have been like since the late 90s,with good managers and bad managers and good players and very average players.

Can't see any reasons for more hope or despair than usual.

We should comfortably get out of this group and will perform as we always do at the actual tournament. Decidedly average.

He might be the best English player but that hasn't been reflected by his England performances of late. He was awful tonight, could not even do the basics well.

We're talking about this current squad of players. I think the reason for their poor performances is more to do with Hodgson than the players not being great. England have some fantastic players who would thrive under a manager with a clue ala Rodgers, Martinez someone with a hint of an attacking mind.

Wouldnt be that hard, would it? Its an awful team. When Wilshere came on the scene at first, he was unbelievable. Now he's just your average English CM.

Cahill,Sterling,Rooney,Jags(Well last year) have all been fantastic for club

Ah the England future is bright!

    U19s thrashed Belarus and Luxembourg
U20s beat Germany and Netherlands in the last couple of days
    U21s beat Croatia

of course it'll all go to hell when they get squeezed out of the top teams and end up in the Championship and League One.

Also after Aidy Boothroyd has trained any flair or skill out of the U20s and John Beck has trained future coaches in the art of hoofball.

Makes you wonder how Hodgson can't make a top international side from such an abundance of riches....
