can anyone identify these worms/maggots

I seen these worms/maggots in a broken down fridge today, can someone who has knowledge in this area if identify what they are? I'd be grateful for help in identifying them as I'm wondering what specific health hazard can they cause? Thanks.

They don't look like worms. At that photo detail I would guess its larvae, maybe choronomids, like a midge larvae.
