    Hi,
Ive a chromecast that plugs into HDMI slot in the back of the TV. I want to mount the TV onto the wall but the chromecast would be wedged between the wall and TV. Im looking for a cable to connect into the TV and connect the chromecast into it, does this kind of cable event exist !!
    Tks

    Hi Ropo.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!!! Seems your post got missed.

I think you would be after a HMDI extension cable with one connect to the HDMI from the chromecast and the other end connects to the screen.

What is the distance you have to run between the two? It would always be better to by a longer HDMI instead of trying to join a cable.

Let me know the distance and I could quote for some new HDMI's.

For example a QED 5m cable is priced at 74.99 Euro

An AudioQuest Pearl 2m HDMI coming in at 42.99 Euro

Sanus Element 2m HDMI priced at 38.99 Euro

    Ropo,

hhhhhmmmmm no I see what your problem is and a longer lead won's solve the issue - you need a female to female adaptor - we dont stock these but we can order you in a decent one from AudioQuest - like the one in the top right on this page:
    http://www.audioquest.com/custom-install/hdmi-wall-plates

They are not expensive - About £12 - if you use a decent HDMi cable direct from the TV - like the Sanus one recommended above and plug it into the AQ adaptor that should allow you to plug your Chromecast in fairly remotely and make your life easier - the AudioQuest product code is 69-050-01 and just drop us a line if you need one and we will get on the case!

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,
