Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They are playing the anthem very slowly.

Such a shite version of the anthem.

I can sense another Paris '09 performance coming.

    2-1 Ireland. Keane and McClean.

Ronnie Whelan trying to break his own record for negativity - already has Durm labelled as "not very good" before the team photos are even taken.

Don't like our team. Nobody to keep the ball in the middle.

I wish I shared your optimism. I was more hopeful an hour ago, but I don't fancy our team.

Still, I'll be happy to eat my words! I've backed Ireland on the handicap, so I don't think will be hockeyed anyway.

I will say one thing, I don't fancy our chances, but no way Germany should be 1/5 shots with half their team crocked.

Is Stephen Quinn the most stereotypically Irish person ever?

5-1 to Ireland and Merkel to do a fly-over in a hot air balloon while waving at everyone

I like the live heat maps for the keepers, Neur seems to have covered more ground so far.

    Steven Ward tbh :(

Yeah Ward is awful, I'm just going by O'Shea's performance against Gibraltar and a few times I saw him this season for Sunderland.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭edgecutter

How are our players nervous? Just bloody get your foot on it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

    Wow some effort

Not good so far. Ward torn apart.

Jaaayyysus. This is gonna be a squeaky bum game if ever there was one. Germany look hungry, and look on to win comfortably, sadly. Don't see where the Irish answer will be coming from here.

Who is Yogi Love that George keeps referring to?

Jesus. We're looking nervous. Ford isn't the most athletic keeper, he basically flopped backwards there when trying to go for that shot.

O'Shea has been one of Sunderland's best players.....

For a moment there 3 ran towards Ginter when he didn't have the ball, then left him to get it and get a cross in.
