Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

200 new gardai?

    Its been announced in the budget that an additional 200 Gardai are to be recruited. Does this mean there is going to be a new recruitment drive next year or are they just going to get those 200 from the last recruitment drive earlier this year?

    The latest drive will supply recruits for the next 2-3 years. There is no way they could get 100 recruits from a drive and then start a new one. Financial suicide.
