Hey all, what pub would you recommend in Ranelagh? We're thinking of going to Tribeca for something to eat and then go somewhere local after for a few drinks. I'm not really too familiar with the area but I've heard McSorleys and Smyths are both good. We're a group of girls (about 7/8 in total)

    Thanks.

Taphouse or McSorleys would be ideal. McSorleys is a late bar too.

Not a great spot for a gang of girls!
McSorleys or TapHouse would be ideal.
I think you'd like McSorleys more.

I'd reccomend Smyths or Taphouse followed by McSorleys if you're up for a bit of a dance. McSorleys has a bit of a Coppers for mid 20s and up feel to it in terms of the music they play and how jammed it gets late on. It's good craic!

How is somebody unfamiliar with the area supposed to realise that?
