    Seeing as the Irish Water thread has been closed :
    Does anyone know if the lad who has decided not to eat for 11 days to garner publicity against water charges is still at it?
    I'm not around that part of town, so has anybody seen him still outside city hall or had he gone for a chicken supper?

    I think about as long as anyone expected.
    Sure, the weather was terrible!

    He's done an excellent job of discrediting the anti water charges side. I wonder was he a government plant! ;)

    He gave up yesterday? That was wednesday, and he started Monday evening? What did he last... 1.5 days? He won't even be down 1 kilo.


    The photos of him with his ballygowan in hand were unfortunate as well. I won't pay the 0.1c per litre water charge, but I'll buy half a litre of ballygowan for 2 quid?


    If the excuse was that it got Too Wet for it, then it's only funnier.
