    Hi Electric Ireland,

    I have a PAYG Meter installed but can I make payments to clear my outstanding bill without using the Electric Ireland card? e.g pay with credit card etc?

    Hi Sitec,

    Thanks for your post.

    It's not advisable to make manual payments with a debit/credit card once you have a PAYG meter installed, as the account balance information will not be updated automatically on your meter. 

    You can however easily top-up online here if that suits. Further information on our PAYG meters, including FAQs, can be found here.
