Hi all, I've a new baby and would like to set up a saving account for him in the Post Office. What documentation would I need to bring with me when opening the account?

You'll need three things:

Proof of identity, such as a passport or driving licence
Proof of address, such as a utility bill or insurance document
Proof of PPS, such as a Revenue or Social Welfare document.

To save you a possible second trip, bring the babys birth certificate and PPS number too
