This music is not giving me any joy tonight to be fair.

Reminds me a bit of The Cramps.

I like this band....sad that it's unusual to hear something a little different on our national broadcaster

The great James Corden won a Tony Award on Broadway for that show.

This interview went in a different direction than what I expected ... but fair play to him. Someone talking about their personal experience of depression is much better than people talking generally about "awareness".

I remember reading an interview with him a couple of years ago, very open and honest. A good guest.

Talking about George Hook, nobody talks about George Hook more than George Hook. In fact George Hook likes nothing better than talking about George Hook. George Hook will constantly remind you that George Hook is from Cork and George Hook never fails to mention that George Hook has been around for over 70 years. George Hook will also tell you about the fact that George Hook wants an iphone 6 but the same George Hook claims George Hook knows nothing about iphones.

Time for Brendan to get his digs in at a TV3 show.

Oh God I think we've reached peak Cork.

He is painful on Xpose. Although Xpose is painful in general to be fair, but he's particularly bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,570 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

In fairness he puts on a good american accent.

But Jaysus I wonder how the people of Hollywood could put up with his Cork accent for that amount of time.

Xpose is now on for an hour a day, five days a week.

The sooner TV3 closes down the better.

    Poor lass.

My missus moved from Swindon to Galway.

I still can't understand how an intelligent person like Aisling O'Loughlin could decide to go from serious journalism to present garbage like Xpose.

Cork joking with cork , it just doesn't transfer outside their country / county for some reason.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,347 ✭✭✭LynnGrace

I'd prefer if the previous interview had gone on longer, and just drop the likes of this crap.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

This interview is so pointless even Xpose wouldn't broadcast it.

I lived in Cork for 4 years, some of my best friends are from Cork so I'm good with the Cork accent, probably picked it up a bit myself living there. But on Xpose he completely ups the Cork, it's so bad it's comical.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,266 ✭✭✭✭Ash.J.Williams

Yeah Brendan has form alright....didn't the last proposal end up with a barring order

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,052 ✭✭✭Un Croissant

Thank God I moved away from cork.

I think he's the sort of fella who gives men a bad name. He definitely refers to ROss O Carrol Kelly for validation on a daily basis.
