Thanks for this feedback. One option that myself and my boyfriend are considering is whether our company will sponsor me. I am looking at what options I could use under the "Highly Skilled Occupations List". I was wondering what a variation of the job title "Medical Underwriter/Complaints Executive" in an Insurance firm would fall into? There seem to be many job titles under the general heading "Business, Research and Administrative Professionals" for example.

The job title is a bit vague. What specialist skills, accreditation or experience would a 'Medical Underwriter/Complaints Executive' have?

If you can't determine your eligibilty from your specialist skills, accreditation or experience you could check with the HR Dept of your Irish sister/subsiduary company or ask your own HR dept to find out from them what the Irish equivalent category of your role is, or what available positions you'd be eligible to apply for under their Intra-Company Transfer system. They would or at least should be familiar with the various categories of occupations that fall under the Highly Skilled Eligible Occupations List & what categories fall under Ineligible Categories

You should also have a browse through the actual Application Form itself to see exactly what details your employer would have to fill in as regards your qualifications/skills/experience, reasons for transfer, & renumeration.
