What is the regulation for ceiling lamps in bathroom

Is this a good sum up of the regulation

What you think about Spot Led Light in a bathroom with a shower?

    Thanks

No. Assuming that you are in the 26-Counties then it is incorrect as it describes zones in the IET Wiring Regulations and not the ETCI Wiring Rules.

    These are not identical.

    Thanks Risteard81,

would you know a place where there is a comprehensive (bathroom) "zone" explanation based on ETCI Wiring Rules ?

    Thanks

there isn't a whole lot to it

afaik our zones are similar to your picture except zone 3(which is absent from your pic) extends 2.4m out from zone 2

    zone 0 ipx7 selv 12v ac
    zone 1 ipx4 selv 25v ac
zone 2 ipx4 mains voltage luminaires permissible
zone 3 no ip specified ,mains voltage luminaires permissible

..luminaires in all zones shall be constructed so that light bulb is totally enclosed by cover

..independent rcd for mains bathroom luminaires mounted in zones 2/3

i'm sure someone can correct me if i'm wrong on any of that

I think that is quite good resume

Should i make any difference between a bathroom with a toilet and basin only against a toliet which may have shower/bath?

    Thanks

if it doesn't have a shower or a bath, it's not a bathroom

the zones are the areas surrounding the bath or shower
