    All,

With the recent moderator changes and just for the jollies I think a TGC beers might be a good idea - to say goodbye to Awec & Sauve and welcome Wibbs & The Mustard.

I'm 0 & Forever for TGC beers so I'll try my best to make this one seeing as I've started the thread :o

I'll put a poll down for the weekends of November and we can aim then for Friday/Saturday day/night based on that.

As always, suggestions/feedback welcome on locations, places that do good snacks, chippers nearby etc.

Cheers in advance & get voting!

    Any suggestions on venues? :)

This weekend level with the 28th/29th - 29th would be best for me as I'm up the 28th for a work night.

I'll go the last weekend in the month.

Venue - not Sweetmans as I been there for 3 boards beers already (out of 4).

I am easy on any other venue (other than Diceys)

    Potential options.

The Duke - Duke St, just off Grafton St - nice place, no music blaring, can reserve areas, quality pints.

P-Macs - lively, huge choice of beers, can get very busy on weekends and tends to house alot of hipsters.

MacTurcaills - Central, cheap pints, decent buzz in it, The Master is a regular.

The Long Stone - as per above.

    :pac:

    When does the poll close?

    When does the poll close?
    Never? :pac:

I'll leave it open until the end of the day and if the 28/29th is still out in front we'll settle on that.

Again - I haven't a notion about Dublin nightlife so you can all be arranging that :)

    29th November

I've just decided for everyone. Benevolent Dictatorships are the way to go.

I would go for next weekend too.
Either would be ok but would prefer 29th. Panthro can you do that day?

29th suits me, how long I'll be able to stay is another thing but we'll see what happens

Seems like we will have a few on the 29th anyway.

Have we decided on a venue yet?

What time will we look to kick off folks? I may have to scoot on to a different location later in the night to meet other people for drinks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,838 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

I may not be able to attend, I've been invited to an engagement party.
What the fook that entails I haven't a notion.
Do I buy them shyt? Do I get pished? What's the protocol here?!

Anyways, I'll post for deffo if I'm in attendance closer to the time.
