Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They half deserve this for the level of complacency. Toure's laziness and self indulgence is a disgrace.

Another year, another group stage elimination for City.

City really are a group of individuals rather than a team.

Fairly vocal CSKA support for a game that was meant to be played in an empty stadium.

Yaya was terrible. Gave away the ball by trying a back heel on the edge of his own box before the pen.

Doesn't say much for the PL if that's the case.

Can't fathom how such a good team always manages to capitulate in the Champions League. Game should have been put away long before the penalty.

Throwing away a two goal lead makes it even worse. Hard one to swallow.

Europa League here we come

Just not good enough in Europe.

Then Yaya wonders why no one buys him birthday cakes.

    Robbed

Thems the breaks. Didn't they get a ridiculously dubious peno at home against Dortmund a few years back?

They are more a collection of individuals than a cohesive team.

That said, they were absolutely robbed today by a home town decision.

Chelsea have been the best English team in Europe for a few years now. Its possible to juggle the league and Europe but is very difficult, that being said, Pelligrini should be well able for it.

That's probably Cities goose cooked if Roma and Bayern are canny ;) Not that I expect anyone to play for a draw.

    So much for that......

Jaysus, had to go out at half time, only seen the result now
    Shocking stuff, City were coasting.

Just need to keep the ball for the last few minutes and see it out. Really need Bayern to win later too, it would be a disaster if Roma win.

Should be alright on that front

I dunno about that, there is a 2 point gap between the teams, Roma won't fancy playing City at home or CSKA away. Likely scenario is they both lose their 2nd game against Bayern, however by the time City play Bayern, Bayern may have already qualified which would obviously increase City's chances, particularly in the Etihad.

Bookies have Roma and Man City as the exact same in the 'To Qualify' market, and without even considering gambling on the topic, I'm inclined to agree with their assessment of the situation.

Those who think City can't go to Roma and win in the last gameweek if they need to, should probably take a look at what Bayern did there last night.
