I haven't bought boots from them, but lots of shoes and never had a problem.

Look at reviews for 'The Shoe Tailor', I found two reviews of one boot that suggest they're a full size smaller than stated and narrower than expected (different style but same brand) while others seem to be happy with the fit and quality.
Sounds like Oxendales have a good returns policy though so worth a try!
