Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Promising link up between Ramsey and Welbeck

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

Poor again from Flamini he creates too many chances for the opposition

Anyone else falling asleep watching this? So slow and pedestrian.

Welbeck needs to be more selfish, he has it in him to beat his man and get a shot away.

Great control from Sanchez - shame he had 2 men on him

Dire stuff. We're boring and predictable yet again.

Do we have any game plane here, seriously. We are just 11 players out playing

This is the most worrying aspect. If we were playing with a good system and playing half decent then the results would come. This just looks like wenger told them to go out and make it happen (yourselves)

Need to dump this formation. Push Jack or Rambo up to #10 and go back to 4231

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

We miss Arteta, he really gives the team shape and control

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,238 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

I think its our new jerseys, the players spend most of the time pulling them back down from their stomachs :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,079 ✭✭✭DenMan

We really need Arteta back! At least we can still win this! Just checked and Liverpool are 0-3 down to Real. Ouch!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,747 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

Welbeck's touch when going through :(

He changes nothing tonight, 1-11 pure puss no desire for the game at all.

We seem frustrated that they're putting up a fight. Rubbish performance so far.

Fed up of watching this sh1t every week. Bad passing and no pace or urgency. Sanchez is only one making an effort. He's too good for this team.

Love the mean and angry tayto :pac:

I'm watching Real given Liverpool a lesson in football.

If we don't win this I see Wenger been put under more pressure.

We used to be fun to watch with our fast slick passing and running off the ball, even when we lost.
This team is now, slow, boring and predictable and not fun anymore.
Something needs to change. We can't put all this down to injuries.

That Tielemans lad is only 17, very impressive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

    4-1-4-1 is absolute poison!

Sanchez has probably been our most dangerous player and that's not saying much.

Our midfield seems to revolve around wilshere tonight, he's doing a lot of screaming and waving his arms looking for the ball which is good to see because he's trying to make things happen!

Ramsey looking very soft, cazorla playing pants. Pod or Campbell coming on for santi wouldn't be half bad.

I live in Basel since 2 weeks ago, people love their team in this city, I feel like following when I watch such crap like this tonight

I don't think I've ever switched arsenal off to watch another team before but I'm so frustrated watching us lately I might watch the second half of some other game. Either that or I'll start throwing things at the telly. Shocking stuff.

Things are slow and it plays right in the hands of teams we should be tearing apart. It's getting seriously worrying right now to be a Arsenal fan.

Wenger after tonight "It's the Injuries, We will win that 4th place spot"

This season is not happening for Arsenal but I really don't see a lack of desire as the issue

I'd substitute Welbeck for that, edge of the box and he kicks it out? Lad doesn't have a strikers attitude for me.

Ramsey of last season would have scored that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

Whatever about our performance I must say Sanchez is a fantastic player.
