Hi all, hope this is the correct thread for this question.

A family member living in Trim has a Westy (Bonnie) who is very dear to her. Up until recently any time she went on holidays Bonnie would stay in a local kennel owned and run by a very trustworthy lady.

This kennel has recently ceased trading. I'm not a dog owner so I don't really get the whole thing but my relative is very very attached to her Westy and is reluctant to pick a Kennel out of a directory and trust them with her beloved pet.

Anyway she's intending to travel abroad for a week at the end of November and is looking for recommendations from people with personal experience of a trusted establishment in the Trim - Athboy region where she could leave Bonnie.

    Can anyone recommend somewhere ?

    Thanks

    Ken

If she's be willing to go a little farther, we've used Brownstead boarding kennels in Brownstown, just outside Kentstown, in the past. They are definitely trustworthy. Lola wasn't happy to be left with just anyone, but was pretty happy there, and the people are lovely, and give extremely good care. Their number is (041)9825038, if it would suit her.
