At the moment the only 32" with built in Freesat would be Samsung ue32H6410 which is currently priced at £449.00

However this screen is an in store only special and would need collected from the Belfast store.


Next screen in size would be a 40"

Very strange that the Sony.ie site has this spec.
The 32W705 that we are selling is definitely not Freesat ready. It is possible that the screen has a satellite tuner but it can not pick up Freesat via this.

I have done a bit of checking online and this seems to be what others are also saying. A few of the reviews have also mentioned this.

I'll see what else I can find out regarding this but I don't think this screen will get Freesat.

I have had a chat with John and he has confirmed the following:

The Sony 32W705 does have a satellite tuner on board and will pick up the free to air station (Excluding HD)

It will not be able to pick up the Freesat HD EPG.

We are doing a Direct Shipment from our main warehouse tomorrow so if you would like to go for one I can have it added and shipped direct to you.

Well , i went to one of local shops and bought this TV. It has the sateline tuner and all i can say - Full HD SKY channels look amazing, overall i am happy with this TV.
