If your looking to hire somebody to do it I don't know anybody in the area but its a fairly simple job to do yourself.

You could spend 50 euro getting some guy in to do it or head down to b and q or woodies and get the equipment for less than 50 and do it yourself and have the equipment for years to come. After you're done throw the rods in the shed and forget about them until next winter.

If you haven't had it done for a few years there can be quite a lot of soot the first time and you may have to put down a dust sheet or old quilt but if you start doing annually it takes much less time and is less messy.

Purchased the rods 2 years ago and only done it for the third time last week. It only took 10 minutes including sweeping up any loose dust afterwards.

Obviously have a look online for best practice to avoid doing any damage or anything but all in all its a simple job and buying the equipment will save you money in the long run.

alternatively if you still want to hire somebody there is umpteen results for chimney sweep Dublin on Google.

    all the best
