Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Buying a refurb IPad 3rd / 4th Gen?

    Hi,
    Hoping all you Apple experts can advise me.

    I'm thinking of buying a refurbished IPad for a friend who's going travelling (New Zealand) after Christmas.

    I've been looking at the Apple Store at the refurbished models, and am thinking of buying either the 3rd gen 32GB with wifi for €329, or the 4th gen 32GB with wifi & retina display for €359.

    What do you think?

    Go fourth gen. The third gen was only on the shelves for about six months before they binned it and released the fourth.

    Both are retina, but for €30 I'd go with the 4.
