im looking to start a pension and need some advice

im a bricklayer by trade ,when i was an apprentice i was direct with a company and worked there for 6 years while paying into construction workers pension scheme

i was let go after 6 years and the pension was stopped but 6 months later i was taken back but i had to go on c2 and didnt pay pension since (4 years approx)

i was told i cant continue my original pension and have to get a new one

will i try stay with the same scheme (cwps) or is there a better option for me ?

is it a set amount every week you put away or can it vary

    thank you

Are you out on your own now or are you working for someone?

You should stick with an amount that you can afford and pay into the plan on a regular basis.

The CWPS scheme is probably handier for you but I don't know what level of advice you get or what fund choices are available.
