Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
one of my radiators is significantly colder then others, there is no air in it (I have tried bleeding it) and both valves are fully open. What could that be ? any idea how to fix it ?

    cheers

Did you try turning all others off and see if this one stays cold? Are they TRVs?

I did not try that and yes they are all TRVs. What are my options if after I turn the other ones off this one stays the same and what if this helps?

Did it work ok prior? Have you had the TRV closed during summer and just now opened again?

If that one stays cold then either;-
    1) Air locked
    2) TRV blocked.
    3) Valve stuck closed.

    Have a look here.

Thanks for that. I have no idea if they were closed or not - just moved in and discovered this problem. Will play around with it later and try the solution from the video - hopedully it will help. Will post update later.

    Hi
I was very busy lately and only got around to have a look at it yesterday. Once I have closed all other rads in the house the one that was always cooler heated up like crazy. This got me thinking that it must not be anything to do with thermostat. I have balanced the rads by turning the upstairs ones down as well as two downstairs making sure they all heat up to the same level and this solved the problem. There is plenty of videos on youtube explaining how to balance your rads and the purpose of it.
