Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tannehill may yet make an NFL QB.

Yet? Oh we're well past 'yet'.

Not sure if 6 weeks qualifies as "well past".

6 weeks? Eh, he's been the Dolphins starting QB since 2012. This is his 39th NFL game. So yes, we're well past asking if he's an NFL QB.

well that means nothing mark sanchez for example is in the league longer and has started more games and its still a very legitimate question for him

He's been very impressive for most of this season but its not that long ago that a lot of Fins fans were calling for his head (the back to back week 2 and 3 losses).

So you've never encountered NFL fan fickleness before? It's a phenomenon that's not exclusive to the Phins you know.

What means nothing? Tannehill is an NFL starting QB and has been for the last 39 games. And what does that mean? Well it just means he's a starting NFL QB.

And since you mentioned Sanchez. I don't rate Sanchez, never have. And if I had to choose between Tannehill or Sanchez in the morning? I would choose Tannehill without hesitation.

Never like a west coast team travelling to the east coast but this is the chargers season on the line, really thought they would have a little more, still go back to that awful decision on 4th down in the first quarter when they had done well to get it back into FG range, get on the board and move forward

Kelce makes such a difference in the run game.

Collerbone is the issue for Foles, hope its not a long term injury

Vick looks to be injured, Jets are a mess of a team.

Talk about destruction for the Chargers, absolutely dominated all game. Might be curtains for Rivers' MVP campaign too.

Jesus sanchez, dont throw it to Cooper with his back to you.

Oh great, Lavonte David is injured as well.

Got blown out with a viscious (but legal AFAIK) block to the knee.

I missed the 3rd quarter but saw the scores but I'm listening to the Eagles radio broadcast using the gamepass app. It brilliant.

I'm happy we won I really am. And the fact that the cowboys lost is even better. BUT do we have the makings of a QB controversy in philly when foles is healthy again ?

Glad to see the Browns win again. They are frustratingly inconsistent though and make some weird calls at times. I think I need to stop watching their games before I become a fan...

Good start by the D, now come on Brady, bring this down the field and give us a seven point lead!!!

Wanting the Patriots to win against Manning feels dirty!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Brady under a lot of pressure on the last three snaps. Hopefully the O line isn't beginning to collapse.

I think that's a safety... Austin took it out of the end zone, moved back in, no contact was made until he was in the end zone and he went down in the end zone. Remarkably dumb play, which the Rams have been full of this season.

EDIT: Terrible, gutless call by the refs to say it was on the one yard line.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

McManus hits the post. Huh. It's almost like the Broncos should have held onto their all pro punter the same as they would have if he played any other position on the field. Huh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Should have gone for the sneak. Brady is 85-15 on sneaks.

If anyone ever says "soccer is for pussies" just show them a gif of that Peyton Manning scramble. Jaysus.

The perfect time for a sack. Great play there by Ayers.

What's this in reference to? Don't think anyone that came from TB has done much tonight?

Edit: Casillas came from TB actually, my bad.

Can anyone tell me whats going on with Russell Wilson?

2.10 Fantasy points coming up to halftime!

45 pass yards 3 rush yards!

    AGAINST OAKLAND!

Lost a couple of his weapons and stubbornness trying to prove their not a run first offence when they clearly are.

wow, really didnt see this coming.

The officials takeaway the Minitron TD and Brady is having none of it.

As someone who has them on their fantasy team....

I just dont know. I dont know....

    *Weeps quietly*

I have Wilson, my opponent has Tannehill.

    Not my week.

EDIT: Unlucky from Brady there that Amandola couldn't either catch that or deflect it away. First INT he's thrown in a long time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

    Beautiful TD

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Chung, the guy we got rid and then inexplicably bring back, gives up a soft TD. And I'm not surprised in the least.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

EIGHT sacks for the Rams today... and there's still 24 minutes left to play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

    Great play Brady.

Unreal getting to watch the two best ever here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

And there goes Vereen with another of his all too frequent drops.
