    Except e know the cremation is to prevent loss of parts for cybermen, nothing to do with spirits feeling the pain. I'm suspecting Danny and the others are uploaded sims rather than souls. In which case reuniting Danny with his now dead but not yet disposed of body is going to take a suspension of disbelief and a bag of salt.

    Guess the subject matter upset enough people to warrant an official reply from the BBC: can't say I'm that surprised, it was pretty dark material by any standards really, nevermind Dr. Who. Wouldn't ordinarily have any time for complaints and that sort of feedback, but still interesting all the same.
