Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky panel just like this thread, some City and lots of Liverpool

And the co-commentator is like this thread. Always see things through their tunnel vision.

That looked very lungey from Demichelis there

What about the world class co-commentator???
    Who did he play for?

United - but is a coach on the England team so won't highlight the hart incident.

Nothing on Hart. I'm gonna go for it: If it had been Rooney.... :pac:

Didn't Rooney run 30 yards to complain to the ref about zabelata though. Did they mention that.

City just aren't giving it to Aguero quick enough through selfishness or not spotting his runs.

  • Another injury to a defender.... Unreal

    FFS. Another defensive injury!!

Of course Rojo is injured. His own fault for voluntarily joining United as a CB. No pity for him.

Paddy McNair gets chucked in the deep end!

Bad to worse. McNair... Huge game!

The hex on Utd's backline is likes of which we've never seen before.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

If you want to see a reckless tackle, see Dimichelis there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,889 ✭✭✭✭The Moldy Gowl

    What happened?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 119 ✭✭RQ2013

I'd look at bringing Wilson on in a little while... He's quite pacy so would suit counter attacking play... Van Persie and Rooney won't have the legs to get through the game... One of them will need to be sacrificed as the game goes on

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

United are having some amount of bad luck with defensive injuries this year.

    Rojo on the oxygen.

    Looks in pain.

Did it happen as he was sliding along the ground?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Looks serious for Rojo, best of luck to him.

    This makes no sense.

It's either a foul or it isn't. It definately was a foul and therefore a pen.

Diving is a foul too if I'm not wrong. Going down like that was not what the contact in that manner should have resulted in.

That's him out for a few weeks then.

    Broken arm?

    Or dissoloction of shoulder?

Was a reckless attempt of a challenge but looks quite serious for the lad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Looks like a shoulder or collarbone injury.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

Has someone seriously jinxed our defence

We are better off with Wilson up front at this stage

    Think this could get ugly

It'll be a miracle if United come out of this with a point

    Rojo's shoulder out?

If Utd get a point from this fair play to them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

0-0 will be a ****ing miracle

    When are Jones/Evans due back?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Think we (City) can only blame ourselves if we don't win now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,928 ✭✭✭dubmick

McNair and Carrick at centre back and down to ten men at the etihad. Horror show.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,846 ✭✭✭✭Liam McPoyle

A winger, a CM and a chung fella as part of our back 4, this could get ugly.

    :(

Jones has shin splints and you can't really put a time on shin splints

They'll fix absolutely nothing coming back.

It'll be a miracle if Utd can get out of their own half yet alone a goal!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

If Utd get out of this anything it'll be pretty damn incredible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,868 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Our best chance of anything in this game is if some City player does something daft and gets a red himself...

    He was fouled first?

Are you saying if you are fouled but then go down easy it cancels it out? C'mon Liam !!

Not the way they've played recently, true, but still ultimately better than pretty untested youth players.

If utd get something from this game then it will have been a resolute display in the face of very bad odds and will have been a very well earned point.

That looked like another penalty to me for City.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

City aren't getting a penalty today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,515 ✭✭✭tupac_healy

Aguero needs to be booked as well! That's a shocking dive!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

    And that's another pen.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

Another decent penalty shout for City. Fellaini clumsy as ****.
