    Hi,

I received a text today confirming loan approval and to contact branch. Is this normal practice?

    Hi new2sat,

Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie.

Yes, this is a relatively new procedure, where our Lending Team sends a text confirmation of a loan approval. Your loan Documents will then be posted to your address to sign and return to our lending team. Alternatively, you can call your branch and book an appointment where a Lending Advisor can provide you with your loan documents to sign and you can draw down the loan immediately.

Should you wish to book an appointment with one of our branches please see this quick and easy link to do so.

We hope this helps and if we can assist you with anything else in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Have a great weekend.

    Elaine

    Many thanks for the response.

Can you check the status of the application?

    Hi new2sat.

The text message you received is to make you aware that the loan you applied for has been approved and is ready to draw down.  Should you require any further assistance with this please contact your branch where a representative will be more than happy to assist you.

Branch details can be located here.

If we can offer you any further assistance please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Paula C
