Walking Dandruff

Hi I went to the vet and the vet said my dog has a 'fungal skin condition' about 2 weeks ago. He took a skin scrap and looked under the microscope and said the dog doesn't have any type of mite. He gave me a wash to use but is now riddled with the fecking thing. I thought it was walking dandruff then and still think now.

Is there any way I can get rid of this, I heard Revolution will kill it. Thanks

What are you feeding the dog?

Lukullus Dry Beef and Trout. I saw it move, so that's why I think it's Walking Dandruff. She has crusty scales and red skin, the fur is starting to fell out on her back and near the tail they are big clumps of white things like dandruff flakes but skin is normal colour. On her belly, it is red, this is the only place she is itching.

A fungal skin condition will smell... Fungusy! Yeasty. It will also make the skin and coat greasy. It is also itchy and will get worse unless it's grabbed by the horns with medication and medicated shampoo.
Does that describe your dog's symptoms?

No large clumps of white mass is forming on her back. I washed her twice and clumps of hair are falling out on her back. I see the white mass/flakes are starting to form back in the same area. Flaky near her tail. No smell, just itching her belly and this is red. Plus biting at her front and under her shoulders. Any idea

I heard Walking Dandruff is contagious, hope to God it doesn't spread. Jesus I had her on the bed and sofas. Feck it

    Ewwww :(
I think you need to get your vet to delve deeper, or get a 2nd opinion. Skin problems tend not to be at the top of many (not all) vets' specialist subjects.
If the treatment your vet gave isn't working, it's time to go back to the drawing board.
I wish you luck. I'm sure your dog is very distressed by it.
